Standby generation assets like diesel generators are already in use in most of the places that can choose to include renewable solar to supplement their existing energy demands. There are several ways to deploy new self generation like one ReBlox for a dedicated portion of electrical load, this may be good enough and can meet all gains from it in economical way, still there are situations dictated by site’s electrical profile where going one more step ahead might be more beneficial for the user – that is to create a physical network of all generation paraphernalia on site (new and existing) to work in a demand response mechanism to serve the electrical load(s) and get the best out of deployed sources.
Moving on from dedicated use of self generation to creating a network of generation sources at site will also make provision to segregate the loads in site-wide physical groups, it may logically be divided in regular, sheddable and critical loads – this will bring coordinated use of resources and definitely will prove more economical.
One can expand the canvas of “integrating and controlling” on-site available sources and “as many” new inductions including ReBlox or else for a variety of applications and complexities.
PowerMics – is a physical networking solution to serve the purpose with professional acumen.
